One thing I have learned since starting my blog is that everyone has their own sense of style. Although I could fall in love with the pictured head chain, and already have, there are several people who turn their nose up at it upon first glance. Understanding that, in spite of current trends, people can break the boundaries of fashion, and their own personal style, and still look beautiful is the key to appreciating style.

My personal golden rule for fashion is be open to different things – items you wouldn’t ordinarily try – can expand your wardrobe. Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love fashion because it allows me to look or be anything I want. There are no requirements for fashion so long as you firmly believe in the personal style you’ve chosen. Fashion is helping me find the person I want to become, allowing me to not only change my style for the day but my outlook for the year.

I want to keep soul searching to find the person I am meant to be. Fashion will help me get there.
