a runway and some lightening bolts.

If you follow me on twitter you would know that this past weekend I attended the ADCD Paper Fashion Show. It was going to be my very first fashion show, and my bestie Kirsi and I traveled through a Wyo blizzard just to attend. As soon as we walked into the venue I was in awe of the runway, décor, lighting, and the music. The vibe I got from the show was unlike anything else; I have never ever felt more at home at something. In simple terms this fashion show gave me another thing to add to my list of why I am falling hopelessly in love with fashion.

The time and effort I put into finding the perfect outfit for an event was a little ridiculous. It took me a week of online shopping to find the perfect fashion-forward look I was going for. Not only did I change my mind about a million times, but the amount of tabs open on my Safari would have made any other millennial cry in agony. #firstworldproblems

Whether you love it or hate it you can admit that my lightening bolt skirt is unique. Once I spotted this skater skirt my heart skipped a beat. Unfortunately the blizzard stopped me from wearing the original outfit I had planned. Good thing I overpacked! (Besides, it’s not overpacking if it all fits right?) Anyway, I paired it with my light blue short-sleeved collared shirt, a statement necklace, and whaaat! Yes, those are high heeled booties peeps.

Cannot wait to go to another fashion show! Have a lovely week!

peace & blessings
