Who had a birthday and started her sophomore year in college
this week? This gurrrl! This week has been a whirlwind of excitement (or pain,
depending on who you talk to). Of course I had to start my first few dayzz of
school out right, so in this week’s blog I am giving the deets on my first
three back-to-school outfits and birthday attire as well!
I chose my super cool, harlem, bleached-out pants for the
first day of school. I wanted something fun and easy to walk in to and from my
classes. In addition, I wanted to show you, the reader, my lovely CHEETAH (!!!)
backpack (probably the only reason I attend school some days – to show it off).
With these fun colors, I hope to have made some lasting impressions.
Outfit Details:
harlem bleached out pants - Forever 21
yellow tank - Rue 21
white sandals - Bella Couture
cheetah backpack - JanSport
For the second day of school and the “lazy” day of my week (only
two classes), I chose my black-and-white, high-waisted Aztec shorts, paired
with a yellow tank and jean vest. I added the jean vest because I thought it
gave it more of a boho vibe. While I thought about wearing my black combat
boots, I ultimately decided to go for a more casual look.
Outfit Details:
yellow tank-top - JCPenny's
jean vest - Debs
aztec high-waisted shorts - JCPenny's
black sandals - Forever 21
Fancy Friday, saaaay whuuuut! I got this bird lovin’ dress
for a birthday present from my best friend Kels, and can I just say that it is
super adorbs? I wanted to put my own personal touch to the dress, sooo I
scrunched up high, blue socks with my white tennies - #easyaspie. Looking back
at the pics now, I wish I had some yellow socks instead. I will, of course, be on
the prowl for some of those.

dress - present!
white tennies - Urban Outfitters
I just wanna give a shoutout to all my besties who made my
birthday so wonderful! Thanks to them I will be attending the P!nk concert on
October 17th, and I cannot contain my excitement! For my birthday I
decided to buy myself this wrap-me-in-gold-head-chain that I have been eyeing
for months! I paired it with a light pink t-shirt and high-waisted jean shorts
to dress the head-chain down. If I wanted to make it a little more fancy, I
would probably wear it with a tan maxi or a pair of “Egyptian” harlem pants,
you know, if I was feelin’ spicy! Also, can I get a round of applause for my
red fringe purse that I recently found? I am in absolute love with it!
Outfit Details:
light pink t-shirt - Forever 21
high-waisted jean shorts - H&M
wrap me in gold head chain - Style Says Shop
brown sandals - T.J. Maxx
red fringe purse - Urban Outfitters
I am very satisfied with my choices for this week and cannot
wait to transition from summer to fall – one word: BOOTS! I can’t wait to see
what this semester has in store for me and the wonderful outfits I will dream
up of! Have a super-duper, awesome day!
Peace & Blessings
xx
