a little blogging community: Mango is Moda.

This girls sense of style would makes anyone jealous. I was so excited when she started her very own blog! Everyone needs to show her some love because wonderful things are going to be happening over there. Thank you Isabel!

How did you come up with the title of your blog?
The week that I contemplated the creation of my blog I was on a YouTube video binge. CrazyRussianHacker was a huge influence because I ended up watching one of his “Essential Life Hacks” video compilations, which included a tip for peeling mangos the right way. So it stuck with me.
In the title “Mango Is Moda” each word has a meaning. Mango represents all the random things I love that I want to include in my blog. Is  stands for Isabel, because I wanted to make the blog quite personal. And finally Moda directly translates to Fashion and Couture, which is my primary focus in the blog.

When is your blog’s birthday?
Tuesday, July 15, 2014 :)

What content do you publish on your blog?
The content of my blog includes Art, Fashion, Photography and Inspiration in general. I talk about my personal experiences, and the journey I am taking in pursuing my dreams of becoming something bigger than I can imagine.

What is your absolute favorite post that you have published? Why?

My favorite post this far is “take a chance at the gardens,”because experiencing Garden of the Gods was amazing on its own. Plus, being able to talk about taking chances and experiencing things out of our comfort zone is truly powerful!

What inspired you to start your blog?
There is a huge list of people who have made impacts in what I do. People that I have contact with daily are the ones who inspire me most. One random day at the office that I worked, I began to realize that too many people trusted and believed in whatever I did, and that’s when I sat down and decided to start blogging.

If people look at your blog what is one thing you want them to gain from it?
The one thing that I want people to gain out of looking at my blog, is that the potential of the world lies within each of us, accept it and learn to love it <3

What is your current life situation? (School, work, dreams, aspirations, etc.)
I am currently a junior Communications & Art major at the University of Wyoming. Unemployed, but following my ultimate goals and dreams of becoming a Designer, or the Art Director for a Fashion Magazine.

What is your favorite blog (besides your own) that you read regularly?
I loveeee reading a wildflower life, because it speaks to my tastes in fashion, and I can truly be inspired by looking at Alex’s work. Other than that, I also get a lot of inspiration and ideas from Lauren Conrad’s blog laurenconrad.com, it is great place to look at for a variety of topics including fashion, fitness, decoration, craft and even books.

 Tips for other bloggers.
I am fairly new to blogging, however one tip for other bloggers is to always keep doing YOU. It ‘s most inspiring when you know someone is passionate and true. I would also encourage other bloggers to reach out to those people who can truly benefit from reading/looking at your blogs. There will always be one more person who you can touch.

What social media platforms can people connect to your blog on?
People can get connected through Google Plus/gmail, or Facebook. I don’t do a lot of Twitter, but I am going to try to be more active through there as well (:
