the long lost outfit post.

It may or may have been one o’clock in the morning but instead of doing something useful like hanging up the pile of clothes that covers my floor, going through my thousands of pictures on my computer sounded like a much better idea.

This summer I was working from sun up to sun down and filled the time extra time I did have with sunshine and friends. While reminiscing via iPhoto I came across an outfit post I never posted *gasp*.

Why, you ask, must I put myself through evoking the feeling of happiness and warm breezes to remind everyone that winter is upon us? Because this high-waisted teacup skirt deserves to be recognized. A brilliant consignment store find, this skirt reminded me of a skirt I had saw in a lookbook for Urban Outfitters but for not even ¼ of the cost. Pairing it with this black tank crop-trop gave me an anti-grandma vibe; then adding my chunky peep toe heels gave it the urban feel I was going for.

Want to create a similar look for winter? Add a chunky cardigan over the crop-trop, pull out the black tights, and trade those peep toe heels for a pair of combat boots. You’ll have an effortless urban outfit perfect for the frigid winter days in a matter of seconds.

Wishing you days filled with hot coco and cuddles.
