lazy girl vibes.

Since moving my amount of friends/selfie-takers have diminished greatly. I miss all my dear friends especially the ones who endured countless hours of taking pictures for my little blog. I am still in the early stages of teaching Justin how to become a photographer, wish us luck.

Lately, I find myself reaching for the easiest thing in my closet whether that be a simple summer dress or my high waisted shorts and a tank top. I definitely believe that my laziness is correlated to how hot it is outside, always wanting to wear the most breathable, loose fitting thing I can find.

Today, I finally decided to try the french braid trend that is absolutely everywhere. I have been very hesitant with trying this hairstyle because, it was my go to for almost every soccer game between the ages of 7-15. My hair is very thick and super dark so braids don’t usually look like the Pinterest pictures I want it to. I decided to do an outside braid, then pulled it out throughout the braid to make it loose and messy. Hopefully achieving the laid back look I was going to. I am wearing my high-waisted distressed jean shorts I purchased from Urban Outfitters last year, they are my go to for almost every summer outing. Pairing it with a simple loose floral crop top that I thought went with my braided hair.

This outfit is super simple but with a lazy day with no to-do list is was the perfect ensemble.

 Picture quality is low but my love for all my readers is sky high.
