the art of piling it on.

Who knew that setting my timer for a 10-minute nap could bring me such happiness. Here’s to the fourth night of me sleeping with all of my notebooks, binders, and books on my bed. Shoving them to the vacant left side so that I don’t have to leave the warmth of my comforter. Knowing that my little pink planner holds my entire life for the next month in a half in it.  Dates, homework, names, reminders, and meetings fill up the tiny spaces leaving no time for naps or Netflix. Last weekend I designed for my first fashion show with my friend, Emily. Our journey towards this spectacular night was filled with long nights, continuous folding, and glue gun battle wounds. The competition was fierce but the little ole team from Wyoming held its own against the elites. While adding a design scholarship on top of my plate the same week as the fashion show I can say that I literally thought I was going to have a meltdown. Although the BF never actually happen I did in fact fall asleep in class for the first time throughout all my years of schooling. I keep telling myself that all of this extra work I am doing now will benefit me in the future and after all the good karma that has been coming to me lately, I believe wholeheartedly that it will. So with the universe on my side (for right now anyway) I keep piling it on.

Sleep is for the weak or well anyone except college students.

Wishing you professors who understand and cars that never run out of gas.
